New Delhi [India], September 30 (ANI): BJP National President JP Nadda on Friday convened a crucial meeting with party general secretaries focusing on preparations for upcoming assembly elections in five states, including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh. The meeting covered a wide range of topics, including block panchayat elections, urban local bodies, ongoing sewa saptah pakhawada, party’s call centres, and various political matters.
According to sources, during the meeting, the BJP President gathered insights from all national general secretaries on strategies for the upcoming assembly elections and outlined a blueprint for the same. Additionally, discussions and information were exchanged regarding the appointment of coordinators for the elections.
During the meeting, JP Nadda also discussed rallies to be held in five states which will be addressed by Prime Minister Modi. “Presentations prepared for the elections were showcased, and comprehensive discussions took place regarding the call centres set up across the country for both Lok Sabha and Assembly elections,” sources said.Â
Sources said that State election coordinators presented their strategies during the meeting, focusing on key constituencies and discussing tactics for seats where the party is weak. Party leaders also engaged in deliberations with regard to more than 170 Lok Sabha constituencies in the party’s travel plan.
The recently held by-elections in many states were also discussed in the meeting and a presentation was given by Union Minister of State Rajiv Chandrashekhar regarding the call centre to be set up by BJP. In the final phase of the program, a review of the work accomplished so far and pending tasks was conducted, along with outlining the road ahead. (ANI)
