New Delhi [India], September 1 (ANI): Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday said that the countdown for the exit of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA)-ruled “autocratic” government has begun as leaders of Opposition bloc – INDIA began parleys in the formal meeting on Friday in Mumbai.
Congress President Kharge, while taking to his social media platform ‘X’ shared a photograph of the ‘united’ leaders of the Opposition and captioned it- ‘Judega Bharat, Jeetega INDIA’ (India will unite; INDIA will win).
“We are united for a progressive, welfare-oriented, inclusive India. No matter how many diversions and distractions, the ruling regime throws at the people, the citizens of India shall not be betrayed anymore,” Kharge said. “140 crore Indians have decided to usher change,” he said. “The countdown of this autocratic government’s exit has begun!” the Congress leader said.
The third formal meeting of the opposition bloc INDIA alliance began on Friday with the aim of coming up with an action plan for the next Lok Sabha Polls. The first meeting of the joint opposition was held in Patna on June 23 and the second meeting was held in Bengaluru on July 17-18.
As many as 63 representatives from 28 Opposition parties including Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Tamil Nadu CM, MK Stalin, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Singh Yadav.
