Tel Aviv [Israel], December 12 (ANI/TPS): As Hamas‘s ability to rule the Gaza Strip crumbles, Palestinian fear of the terror group is disappearing and leading towards anarchy. The Tazpit Press Service has learned that residents who who openly criticise Hamas in front of TV cameras — once unthinkable — can call the Iran-backed Hamas “betrayers of the Palestinian people.”
In one notable incident, a resident of Gaza told Radio Hebron, which also broadcasts from the Strip, that “Mohammed Deif and Yahya Sinwar are sons of dogs.” One Palestinian official told TPS, “Hamas‘s central government has completely collapsed and the interior and police systems are also not fully functioning.”
There are no more rescue and civil defence teams and residents are busy clearing the rubble from their homes. Residents report widespread looting of food rations and medicines delivered from Arab countries through the Rafah border crossing. In particular, trucks are hijacked by armed Hamas operatives or criminals, who then sell the aid themselves.
One resident was filmed pointing to a bag of food clearly labelled with the words “not for sale” and was required to pay 40 shekels (USD 10) for it.
There are also reports of black markets in the hundreds of shelters where Palestinians are staying, where food and medicine are sold. TPS has also learned from Israeli sources that morale among Hamas‘s fighting units in the northern areas of Gaza is severely damaged and there have been significant desertions following the killing of Northern Brigade commanders in Israeli air strikes.
Around 200 of these deserters were the Palestinians seen in photos on social media in their underwear surrendering to Israeli forces. In southern Gaza, dozens of kitchens have opened on the sidewalks where volunteers distribute hot food to displaced Palestinians. Gas cylinders for cooking are in short supply after large numbers were stolen by Hamas operatives, sources told TPS.
Khan Yunis is Gaza’s second-largest city and is considered the capital of the Strip’s southern district. It is also regarded as a personal stronghold of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, whose family lives there.
Before the war, Hamas oversaw a civilian administration of around 50,000 employees. (ANI/TPS)

Israel uncovers Hamas weapons cache in Gaza residential area
Tel Aviv [Israel], December 12 (ANI/TPS): Israeli soldiers operating in the Jabaliya area of the northern Gaza Strip located several combat posts and weapons caches used by Hamas in a residential area and near a school, the Israel Defence Forces announced on Tuesday. The weapons cache located included rocket-propelled grenades, launchers of various types, explosive devices, grenades, AK-47 rifles, magazines and military vests. “This is further proof of the cynical use by Hamas of the residents of the Gaza Strip as human shields,” the IDF said in a statement.
The soldiers destroyed most of the weapons and transferred the rest for closer examination.
As part of the operation, soldiers also demolished the residence of a terrorist from Hamas’s Nukhba unit, which served as a command centre. Soldiers confiscated documents and laptops, which included operational plans for the October 7 massacre. (ANI/TPS)
All Israel Navy ‘Sa’ar 6’ missile ships operate at same time
Tel Aviv [Israel], December 12 (ANI/TPS): For the first time, all four of the Israel Navy’s ‘Sa’ar 6’ missile ships completed an activity. One of them sailed to the Red Sea port of Eilat. Also for the first time, this week the missile ship “Magen” (Shield) docked in the port of Eilat, a ship of the ‘Saar 6’ class.
The fourth and final ship of the Sa’ar 6 series, was completed at an “extremely fast pace for installing and adjusting the latest and most advanced combat systems in the world made in blue and white,” said the IDF.
According to the IDF (Israel Defense Forces), since the beginning of the war in the Gaza Strip, the flotilla of missile ships as well as regular security ships of the Israel Navy have attacked hundreds of aid terrorist targets there in support of the manoeuvring ground forces.
Naval forces eliminated terrorists, including dozens of operatives in the Hamas naval formation. Also, most of the commanders of the Hamas naval force, which numbers hundreds of operatives and specialises in carrying out attacks in the maritime area, were also attacked and killed.
The Navy also succeeded in thwarting a number of unmanned submarines, whose purpose was to damage the strategic assets of the State of Israel at sea and on its shores, such as offshore gas platforms.
At the same time, the missile ships of the naval arm continue to operate in the Red Sea area, in accordance with the situation assessment and as part of the increased defence effort, said the IDF. (ANI/TPS)
