New Delhi [India], May 19 (ANI): Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Friday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the Reserve Bank of India on Friday notified to withdraw Rs 2,000 denomination banknotes from circulation saying that the PM doesn’t understand the pain of public which suffers due to the new policies of the government.
“First, they said the corruption will end by bringing the Rs 2000 note and banning the Rs 2000 note will end corruption. That’s why we say, PM should be educated. Anyone can say anything to an uneducated PM. He doesn’t understand anything. Only the public has to suffer,” he said in a tweet.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday hit out at the BJP-led Central government after the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) notified to withdraw Rs 2,000 denomination banknotes from circulation and termed it “billion dollar dhoka” urging people not forgive those responsible for such a move.
RBI on Friday announced that it has decided to withdraw the Rs 2,000 denomination banknotes from circulation but they will continue to remain legal tender.
In a tweet, the West Bengal CM said, “So it wasn’t Rs 2000 dhamaka but a billion dollar dhoka to a billion Indians. Wake up my dear brothers and sisters. The suffering we have endured due to demonetisation can’t be forgotten and those who inflicted that suffering shouldn’t be forgiven.”
RBI has advised banks to stop issuing Rs 2000 denomination banknotes with immediate effect.

RBI on Friday announced that it has decided to withdraw the Rs 2,000 denomination banknotes from circulation but they will continue to remain legal tender.
“Another note ban by @narendramodi. Sad that the @BJP4India govt does not have clarity about their own policies. Why did they introduce Rs 2,000 notes in 2016 if they had plans to ban it? This is BJP’s desperate attempt to divert the attention from their failures. #NoteBan,” said Siddaramaiah in a tweet.
