New Delhi, Jan 31 (ANI): Ambassador of Thailand to India Pattarat Hongtong on January 31 stated promoting tourism sectors will boost development of the country and full support and facility have been provided at the airport to help Indian tourists coming to Thailand. Pattarat Hongtong said, “India and Thailand have close relations. We see a lot of opportunities and we should enhance our bilateral relations in all areas. We want to reconnect people of two countries as a priority. For Thailand, the tourism sector is the backbone of our economy. We want to focus on boosting it, bringing international visitors to the country. When we opened to India and other countries we have seen huge numbers of Indians returning to Thailand.” “Now we have 230 flights per week from India to Thailand. We promote Thai tourists to know cities in India like Ahmedabad and Hyderabad and we have already started flight services. If we can bring people to know each other more than our relations will be closer,” she added. Hongtong further added, “Indian tourists can get VISA from the Embassy as well as a visa on arrival at the airport. We provide full support and facility at the airport to help Indian tourists coming to Thailand.”
