The loading operation began at 4:05 p.m. on July 2 and was completed at 2:30 p.m. on July 3, reflecting the port’s commitment to operational excellence, efficiency, and world-class cargo handling.
The achievement was made possible through the coordinated efforts of all stakeholders involved, including Ashapura Stevedores (a unit of Ashapura Shipping Group) as the stevedore, Spartans Marine Services as the vessel agent, Balaji Infraport Pvt. Ltd. (a unit of Ashapura Shipping Group) as the customs house agent, and exporters Gimpex Imerys India Private Limited and Bharat Abrasives and Chemical Industries.
According to a press release, the successful completion of the record-setting loading operation demonstrates DPA’s ability to ensure faster vessel turnaround, enhanced operational efficiency, and reliable logistics support for trade.
The achievement further reinforces DPA’s position as one of India’s leading major ports, consistently setting new benchmarks in port performance and customer service, the release said.
DPA Chairman Sushil Kumar Singh, IRSME, congratulated all stakeholders, port users, trade unions, officers, employees, and workers for their wholehearted support, dedication, and collective efforts in accomplishing the milestone, the release added.
